What Insurance plans do you accept?
Texas sleep accepts most insurance plans. Please call us to verify whether we are in network with your insurance plan.
What nights do you perform sleep studies?
For the convenience of our patients, we offer sleep studies 7 nights a week. We have times available for 8:30 and 9:30 each night.
Do you treat conditions other than sleep apnea?
Of course! We treat many sleep disorders including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, periodic limb movement disorder and more! We even have special testing for narcolepsy. We also specialize in treating severe sleep disordered breathing and chronic respiratory failure. These patients often need advanced modes of ventilation at night.
If I need a CPAP other type of machine, when will I get it?
If you require a CPAP or other device, an order will be placed within 1-2 business days after your sleep study. Often times, our patients get set up with their machine within 2 weeks from your study.
What kind of follow up do I need after I have my machine?
You will have a follow up in about 4-6 weeks after you have been set up on your machine. The main purpose of this visit is to make sure you have been able to use the machine, to check your AHI score – how many times you stop breathing per hour, and to make any adjustments necessary to your mask, pressure, or humidity. It will be important to bring your device and mask with you so that we can make any adjustments necessary.
What do I do if I’m having trouble tolerating my mask or pressure?
Of course our goal is for you to be comfortable with your machine. If you are having issues with your mask, please call our office to schedule a quick mask fit visit. We can help adjust your current mask or you can try on different masks to see if there is a better option for you. If you are having difficulty with the pressure on your machine, please call our office and speak with our dedicated sleep team. Often times we are able to access your machine remotely and make any pressure adjustments necessary.
